TYRA UNMANNED SATELLITES

The COPSAT team will use the Tyra suspension period to align with the new Tyra operational mode, execute deferred maintenance, accelerate major near-term maintenance for the close-in period and carry out optimisation projects on the unmanned satellites Valdemar AA/AB, Valdemar B, Tyra South-East and Roar.
Competences and systems
The responsibilities of Semco Maritime and Muehlhan include:
- Maturation and preparation of scope
- HSE activity plan
- Task risk assessment (TRA)
- SIMOPS dossier & matrix
- Detailed planning and reporting
- Survey plans and offshore survey
- Permits to work
- Rigging/lifting plans
- Isolation plans - mechanical/electrical
- Offshore management and execution
- Offshore execution of general maintenance
- Offshore execution of minor optimisation projects
- Mechanical/electrical completion in PIM
Highlights
- Approximately 150,000 man-hours will be used within a period of 1 year, where up to 30-50 workers will work on the satellites at the same time day and night
- Preparation and maturation of scope is extremely important to be able to foresee obstacles, issues and simultaneous work activities
