Because of the limited availability of SemSound products and components, it is highly recommended to use SemSound IP instead. The state-of-the-art SemSound IP Public Address and Voice Alarm system was launched in 2016 as the official successor of SemSound.
Obsolescent PAGA system – what does that mean?
When components become obsolete and reach their end-of-life – it simply means that we can no longer guarantee that spare parts can be supplied.
For some components we can supply spare parts until the end of 2022, while for other components are already out of stock. What we can see now is that the depletion of stock is happening much faster than first anticipated. See the list below here (updated 19 May 2022).
What to do if you have the classic SemSound PAGA system?
After 20 years in the market, there is no avoiding the fact that SemSound components are becoming obsolete – and while it is time to act and plan your IP-upgrade – there is no need to panic. Your system is still working, and we still offer support. But the lack of spare parts may turn in to a real headache… Find out more here.
