GMOC - Total, UK

Aberdeen – UK oil and gas production company Total Exploration and Production UK (TEPUK), has awarded a General Maintenance and Operations Support Contract (GMOC) to PBS, a recently formed Aberdeen-based consortium. The contract is effective from Q2 2020.

Semco Maritime wins rig order for Seadrill

Semco Maritime has been awarded a contract by Seadrill Limited for preparation and modification of the West Bollsta prior to commencing her 10 well contract with Lundin Norway on Norwegian Continental Shelf in Q2 2020. The project will be executed at Semco Maritime’s yard at Hanøytangen outside Bergen starting mid-February 2020.

New dry-docking concept

Odfjell Drilling and Semco Maritime have signed a contract for preparation and modification of Deepsea Stavanger prior to her commencement of a 9-month drilling campaign for Total in the harsh waters outside South Africa. The semi-submersible rig will complete a high docking (with thrusters on) in Semco Maritime’s rig yard at Hanøytangen, Bergen, in Q1 2020.
